Brandon Batty

Dr. Batty is a highly skilled and energetic veterinarian from Cove, Oregon.

A proud graduate of Oregon State University, Dr. Batty earned his Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), all from OSU—demonstrating a lifelong dedication to veterinary medicine and clinical excellence.

With a strong surgical foundation, Dr. Batty has advanced expertise in both orthopedic and soft tissue procedures. He has completed specialized training in tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) and fracture repair, further strengthening his capabilities in orthopedic surgery. His surgical skill set also includes femoral head ostectomy (FHO), limb amputation, and a wide range of soft tissue surgeries. In addition, he brings vast experience in reproductive and breeding management, having performed hundreds of Cesarean sections with a focus on maternal safety and neonatal success.

Dr. Batty has extensive experience working with bulldogs and understands their unique veterinary needs, including breed-specific dermatologic concerns and respiratory challenges. He is well-versed in managing conditions common to bulldogs and performing specialized surgeries such as brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS) correction and screwtail amputation.

Beyond surgery, Dr. Batty has a strong interest in dermatology and advanced imaging, including radiology and ultrasound. He takes a comprehensive, diagnostic-driven approach to care and enjoys integrating multiple disciplines to support accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Known for his energy, compassion, and upbeat personality—often described as having “Golden Retriever energy”—Dr. Batty thrives on client interaction and deeply values the relationships he builds with both pets and their owners. Whether in the exam room or the operating suite, he brings a positive, approachable presence to every case.

Outside of work, Dr. Batty enjoys spending time with his wife, Sierra, who is also a veterinarian, and her family. His hobbies include weightlifting, playing the saxophone, exploring the Valley of Arizona, and enjoying a nice glass of Oregon Pinot Noir. He shares his home with Bumper, his beloved French Bulldog and self-declared “best dog ever,” who keeps life joyful and entertaining.
